Finally the dream has come true as great/amazing product from the Kochadaiiyaan Crew. First of all i need to thank Director K.S.Ravikumar and Soundharya.R.Ashwin for taking our cine industry to next level with the help of #SSRK ,#ARR , #EROS_International. #MediaOne , etc., for introducing PHOTO-REALISTIC / MOTION-CAPTURE technology to our INDIAN CINEMA. Thank you all once again _/\_

Everyone knows that Kochadaiiyaan is the first PHOTO-REALISTIC PERFORMANCE CAPTURED 3D ANIMATED film. All of us realize that it is a path breaking attempt from a technological perspective from INDIAN's but at the end of the day, Kochadaiiyaan has been intended as a quintessential Rajini film, and any such Superstar starrer is invariably expected to entertain with elements such as memorable punch lines, larger-than-life stunts, a racy screenplay, a simple but gripping story, beautiful songs and breathtaking visuals. Since, these are the key of Indian cinema and that's what #SSRK will provide for the audience and so he has done it again with a giant leap via PHOTO-REALISTIC PERFORMANCE technology.

The film is based on ancient warrior's era , encompasses elements such as bravery, jealousy, revenge and inspiring leadership. K.S.Ravikumar binds them all with a gripping screenplay which soars particularly in the second half and he proves that he is a master at his game. His story gels well with the period and the characters being portrayed on screen. Especially from the Interval block to the end , movie was energitic because of the great screenplay.

This film wouldn’t have been what it is, without the dynamic presence of Superstar Rajinikanth. Only because of his presence and with his magnetic voice , which gives life to all those powerful dialogs penned by Ravikumar and the veteran star infests marvelous screen presence even to animated characters.

Some of the dialogue from the final sequences from the flashback of Ranadev (a) Rana(Son of Kochadaiyaan, 2nd Rajni) was too touching , when Kochadaiyaan says to his son that he is leaving to God's place since he was invited and Childhood Rana will greets his dad(Kochadaiyaan) by kissing forehead and says him "Seekiram pooitu vaanga" at the next scene Kochadaiyaan's head will be cutted because of the King(Nasser)'s order, that sequence was really touching.

Coming to the character models, Rajini looks delightful on screen with top-of-the-line styling and really colorful costumes. In all the avatars, Rajini looks a million bucks. Particularly as the heroic elder statesman Kochadaiiyaan, the Superstar owns the screen.

Nagesh's presence provides the show with 80's feel and really felt too good to see him back in BIG SCRREN , special thanks to director Soundharya.R.Ashwin for brining him back.

Nasser's role was apet and powerfull also Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff and Aadhi are the other notable characters on screen and Sarath impresses with his convincing diction of chaste Tamil. Where as some of the female character's like Deepika Padukone and Rukmini could have been shown better on screen but Shobana's role was good and perfect.

In few sequences could see many animated area's are not good, very awful at few sequences . Since, it's the first attempt from India, it's a giant try and delievered as a good product for the audience.

Additional to this , this movie could be watched in 3D for better  efficiency, you will feel it from the title card and during the time of viewing lead actors name (Super Star Rajni) and in many occasions of forest, fort, war sequences. I personally recommend you all to watch it in 3D , even 2D is good but 3D is much better than 2D.

Plus    : BGM score, Screenplay, Casting.
Minus :  Melody songs could be avoided because it drags the entire play, few more perfection in animated modelling could be done.

I also request you all to watch the end card of the movie , so that you can feel their effort with ARR's BGM (Karma Veera Song).

Overall, it's a good entertaining flick from #SSRk which could be watched with family and it's a triple treat action for all. Please try to watch this movie in theatre(if possible try out in DOLBY ATMOS surrounding especially for ARR sir's mind blowing BGM)

I could expect that Kochadaiiyaan would obtain #EntertainmentTaxRebate.

Verdict :  A stunning & a pioneering attempt which offers true entertainment in the trademark of Rajini's style.

RATING : 4/5
